The Prime Minister receives the Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili.
The Prime Minister emphasized the consistent development of cooperation between the Armenian Government and the World Tourism Organization and the implementation of joint projects in the field. Noting that the tourism sector is of key importance for the Armenian government, the Prime Minister also emphasized the need to develop regional tourism packages.
Zurab Pololikashvili noted that Armenia has a great potential for the development of the tourism sector, highlighting the holding of the World Wine Tourism Festival in our country these days. According to the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, it also contributes to the development of tourism outside of Yerevan.
The interlocutors emphasized the works carried out in the direction of development of the tourism investment guideline of Armenia. It was developed in cooperation with the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the Investment Support Center and the World Tourism Organization. The presentation of the guideline will take place this evening.
