Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of "Erebuni" Radiotherapy Center. "Erebuni" Medical Center, together with the leading American company Varian, built a radiation treatment center equipped with modern radiation therapy, radiosurgery and radioisotope equipment.

Nikol Pashinyan toured the center and got acquainted with the modern conditions created for cancer treatment. State-of-the-art radio and brachytherapeutic equipment, the latest CT scan for radiation planning from the German company Siemens Healthineers, which create the most accurate images for effective radiation treatment, were presented.

The center is also equipped with a positron emission computed tomography, which, according to the officials, is unique in the Republic of Armenia. "Erebuni" Radiotherapy Center is also distinguished by modern radiosurgery. Radiosurgery is a type of medical intervention that allows for the radiation treatment of benign and malignant neoplasms, as well as other lesions, by radically eliminating tumor cells. The "Identify" system is integrated into the radiosurgery device located in the center, which is unique in the CIS.

The Prime Minister emphasized the programs in the healthcare sector that are aimed at cancer treatment within the framework of the state order. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the establishment of modern health centers by the private sector and the introduction of the latest equipment, which will allow providing high-quality services.
