The group of active athletes has no age limit.

The tournament was held on the Parakar-Echmiadzin road. In the 1st age group, schoolchildren overcame a 4 km running distance, starting from the area adjacent to the "Zvartnots" historical and cultural reserve-museum. The representatives of the 2nd and 3rd age groups, as well as the individual athletes, ran 10 km along the Parakar-Echmiadzin road.

The participants who took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the tournament in 3 age groups, as well as in individual athlete groups, were awarded certificates, cups, and medals. The participants who took the 1st-10th places in three age groups and individual athlete groups also received cash prizes: 1st place: 1,000,000 AMD, 2nd place: 500,000 AMD, 3rd place: 300,000 AMD , 4th place: 100,000 AMD, 5-10th place: 50,000 AMD.

Nikol Pashinyan awarded the participants who took the first to third places in the competition of men aged 18 to 40. The Prime Minister also presented symbolic gifts and certificates to the oldest participants of the tournament.

In his speech, the Prime Minister congratulated those present on the occasion of the event, as well as the winners of the tournament and all the participants. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized once again that the goal of the "Prime Minister's Cup" tournament is to contribute to the popularization of a healthy lifestyle in the republic, as well as to ensure the promotion of physical education and sports among the population. The Head of the Government noted that the purpose of the tournaments is also to change the attitude of the citizens towards sports, because usually most of the citizens in Armenia perceive sports as something far from them, as an event taking place beyond the TV screens. "We want physical education and sports to become an integral part of our lives and routines."

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of schoolchildren's participation in the marathon and thanked the teachers for their work. "This is a kind of examination for our schools and teachers as well. We see that there are teachers who are achieving success, and we also want to say words of appreciation to our teachers and schools."
