Prime Ministers of Armenia and Slovakia meet in Budapest

Within the framework of the summit of the European Political Community, Prime Minister Pashinyan had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico.

The interlocutors discussed various issues of mutual interest. In particular, Prime Minister Pashinyan referred to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and the latest developments, stressing the Armenian Government's commitment to the peace agenda. At the same time, the Prime Minister presented to his Slovakian counterpart the "Crossroads of Peace" project of the Armenian Government and its principles aimed at unblocking regional communication channels.

Robert Fico expressed Slovakia's support for the peace efforts of the Armenian Government, as well as the "Crossroads of Peace" project.

The interlocutors also exchanged ideas on Armenia-European Union relations. In this context, the parties emphasized the start of the dialogue on visa liberalization.

Nikol Pashinyan and Robert Fico emphasized the importance of bilateral high-level mutual visits for the development of cooperation between Armenia and Slovakia.
