Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys Limited, who is the recipient of the State Award of the Republic of Armenia for global investment in the field of High Technologies.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the contribution of Narayana Murthy to the field of high technologies and noted that Mr. Murthy is exemplary for promising Armenian youth who have a potential to work in the field. The Prime Minister emphasized that the IT sector is an absolute priority for the Government of the Republic of Armenia and values possible cooperation with Narayana Murthy.

The latter thanked for the high appreciation and emphasized his warm attitude towards Armenia and the Armenian people. According to Narayana Murthy, Armenian specialists have great potential in the high-tech sector and he is also ready to share his experience and contribute to the development of the sector in our country.

The ceremony of awarding the State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to the Field of High Technologies will take place today.
