The Prime Minister receives delegation of EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Co-Chair of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee Nils Ušakovs.
The Prime Minister attached importance to the active Armenia-EU dialogue and the consistent development of relations, emphasizing the importance of organizing mutual visits at various levels.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed that the agenda of democratic reforms in our country is a priority. In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of consistent support from the EU.
The Prime Minister attached importance to the effective and consistent implementation of the agreements reached at the Armenia-EU-US high-level meeting. At the same time, the Prime Minister assessed the recent meeting with the President of the European Council António Costa in Munich as productive.
Issues related to the further development of Armenia-EU relations and the introduction of EU standards in Armenia were discussed.
Prime Minister Pashinyan, referring to the visa liberalization process, emphasized that it will contribute to more human contacts, as well as the development of tourism.
Reference was also made to the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the “Crossroads of Peace” project aimed at unblocking regional communication routes and its principles, as well as issues related to the border demarcation process.
The Prime Minister also presented the strategy of Real Armenia, as well as the balanced and balancing foreign policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
