Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the new high-tech radiotherapeutic building of the National Center of Oncology named after V. A.Fanarjyan.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and the Director of the National Center of Oncology Narek Manukyan, toured the newly opened radiotherapeutic building, got acquainted with the work carried out and the equipment of the center. Those responsible presented the Prime Minister with the features of the radiotherapeutic building's activities and upcoming programs. It was noted that in order to provide quality healthcare services, the radiotherapeutic building has been equipped with the state of the art Halcyon radiation treatment accelerator complex of the famous American company "Varian", and two more multifunctional ultra-modern medical accelerators are planned to be installed in the coming months. According to those responsible, the building equipped with modern necessary equipment will provide high-quality and accessible medical services. As a result, patients will receive complete, accurate medical care and treatment compliant with international standards.
Nikol Pashinyan was also presented with details about the construction and technical re-equipment works carried out to modernize the main building, and about the new services provided by the medical facility.
