Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening of the new, exclusive international exhibition titled "Myths, Cults, and Cosmogony: Berlin’s Museum Island at the History Museum of Armenia." Organized to mark the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia and the 200th anniversary of Berlin’s Museum Island, the exhibition serves as a significant platform for cultural dialogue, institutional memory, and cooperation between two major museum centers.

Nikol Pashinyan toured the exhibition halls and viewed the displayed artifacts. The exhibition features over 50 items from six museums of Berlin’s Museum Island, presented alongside selected pieces from the rich collections of the History Museum of Armenia. The valuable artifacts from Berlin’s Museum Island span a vast timeframe, ranging from the ancient world through the Middle Ages to modern times. On display are ritual vessels, seals, jewelry, weapons, and architectural ornaments with traces of cosmological and mythological imagery, recovered from Uruk, Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Iran, Greece, Armenia, and Byzantium, as well as Italy, Germany, and other regions. 

The exhibition will be on view at the History Museum of Armenia until March 21, 2027.
