Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the official opening ceremony of the "HayPass" office, located in the "Yerevan Mall" shopping center, which is engaged in issuing new biometric documents.
Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan and the head of HayPass, Régis Bouchier, cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the commencement of the office's operations.
Following this, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Internal Affairs, and other attendees toured the office. Arpine Sargsyan explained the procedures for collecting biometric data and issuing documents, as well as the organization of services and the conditions provided for citizens.
Nikol Pashinyan personally participated in the process of obtaining new documents by providing the necessary biometric data. The Prime Minister’s direct involvement made it possible to experience the service stages from the citizen’s perspective and to evaluate the clarity and convenience of the procedures.
Citizens will assess the effectiveness of the new system based on their own experience, taking into account the simplicity of the application procedures, the convenience of the service process, and the quality of the service received.
