Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, composer Robert Amirkhanyan on his 80th birth anniversary. The message reads, in part:

“Dear Maestro,

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your 80th birth anniversary.

You have created such valuable works of art that earned you wide international recognition, enriching not only Armenian musical art, but also animation and cinema. Invaluable is your contribution to the development of Armenia’s musical art, to the cause of upbringing the rising generation of musicians in the best Armenian tradition.

In this regard, I would like to single out the anthem of the Armenian Army, which is Armenian soldier’s best companion, the best expression of his victorious spirit, a full-fledged reflection of our love for the Motherland.

Dear Maestro,

I wish you robust health, endless creative energy and inspiration.”
