Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to President Luis Lacalle Pou of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on the country’s Independence Day. The message reads, in part:

“I cordially congratulate you and the friendly people of Uruguay on your national holiday - Independence Day, and wish you peace and prosperity.

The traditionally warm and friendly Armenian-Uruguayan relations have a solid foundation, which fosters a sincere dialogue and effective cooperation between our countries.

I hope to see new achievements in the friendly relations established between our two countries for the benefit of our peoples.”
