Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Chairman of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister) of the Italian Republic Mario Draghi on his appointment.

The message reads:
“Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

Please accept my most heartfelt congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Italian Republic. I am confident that the long experience and knowledge gained during your professional activities will best serve to defy the challenges facing Italy and implement all the programs aimed at enhancing your country’s prosperity.

We are keen to consistently develop and deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation with friendly Italy. Armenian-Italian relations are anchored on the centuries-old ties of our peoples, reciprocated sympathy, as well as on spiritual, cultural and civilizational affinities.

I express my readiness to work with your government to promote the ongoing constructive dialogue between Armenia and Italy, to further expand and strengthen our multifaceted interaction for the benefit of our two friendly nations.
