Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mohammed Shia' Sabbar al-Sudani, warmly congratulating him on assuming the high post of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister’s message reads as follows,

"Armenia attaches great importance to the existing cooperation and high-level political dialogue with friendly Iraq, highly valuing the strong partnership relations with many years of history.

Taking the opportunity, I express my readiness to make all efforts to develop and deepen Armenian-Iraqi relations in the areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our two peoples.

I wish you good health and success, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Iraq.
