Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Ireland Leo Varadkar on his assumption of the post of Prime Minister.

The message reads as follows,

"Your Excellency,

I convey to you my warmest wishes and best wishes on taking over the office of Prime Minister of Ireland.

Armenia attaches great importance to the further development of cooperation with Ireland based on common values and mutual respect, on both bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the framework of the EU.

I sincerely hope that during your tenure, Armenian-Irish relations will rise to a new qualitative level, for the benefit of the prosperity of our countries and the welfare of the two friendly peoples.
