Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia, on the occasion of the national holiday. The message reads as follows,

"On behalf of the Government of Armenia and myself, I warmly congratulate you on Australia Day, wishing the friendly people of Australia peace and new achievements.

Armenia attaches great importance to the development of friendly relations with Australia in all areas of mutual interest. I am sure that mutual sympathy between our peoples and dedication to democratic values are the best basis for deepening and strengthening Armenian-Australian interstate relations.

I reaffirm my willingness to raise the bilateral relations of our states to a new qualitative level with joint efforts."
