Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Iceland's Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson on the occasion of taking office. The message says:

"I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as the Prime Minister of Iceland, wishing you success in fulfilling your high mission.

I reaffirm Armenia's sincere desire to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Iceland in all possible directions and on different platforms, based on friendship, trust and mutual respect.

I am confident that with joint efforts we will be able to raise our cooperation to a new level in all areas of mutual interest.

I wish you good health and success, and prosperity and peace to the friendly people of Iceland."
