Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Romania Ion-Marcel Ciolacu on the occasion of the national holiday, the Great Union Day. The message states:

"I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Romania on the occasion of the national holiday, the Great Union Day.

Over the past years, relations between Armenia and Romania, which are anchored on the historical friendship of our peoples, common values, and mutual interests, have recorded significant progress. Of course, the Armenian community in Romania also plays a major role in this process.

I sincerely hope that the interstate relations between our two countries will continue to develop and expand. I highly appreciate the continuous support of the government led by you to the deepening of Armenia-EU relations, as well as the process of establishing and strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

I wish you good health and fruitful activities, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly Romanian people''.
