Dear people, dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia,

Here, the year 2024 is already history. But that history stands out in terms of essence and content. In 2024, the ideology of the Real Armenia was formed and today, now, it is before each of you.

This is a turning point for our history, because this ideology suggests looking from a different perspective not only at the path we have passed, but also at our future. First of all, at our future.

The ideology of the Real Armenia suggests looking from a different perspective at our state, its operational significance, our internal and external relations, our region and the world, suggests that we look from a different perspective at ourselves, as a collective whole and each of us at ourselves, at our relations with our homeland, the Republic of Armenia.

The Real Armenia is the conceptual, ideological basis and substantiation of our Peace Agenda, and I want to say directly, without the Real Armenia, the implementation of the ideology of the Peace Agenda is impossible.

Today, many people are asking an objective question: how feasible and realistic is the ideology of the Real Armenia and the Peace Agenda based on it?

On March 31, 2018, by the decision of the “Civil Contract” Party and in consultation with other partners, I presented to you the program and concept for establishing the people’s power in Armenia, a change of government, and ultimately a Revolution, and at the time of presenting that concept, the overwhelming majority of Armenians considered it desirable, but equally unrealistic, essentially impossible.

But the People’s, non-violent, velvet Revolution took place thanks to courage, consistency, prudence, a clear strategy and tactics adopted in advance, but also flexibility and creativity, as well as the support of all of you.

In the case of the peace agenda, the situation is, of course, not the same, because its implementation depends not only on our people and the Government.

But the two situations are similar to the extent that I propose to discuss and focus on what we, and not on what others, will do and say, and this is, if not a guarantee, then at least an essential condition for success.

That is what we did in April-May 2024, when I first presented the concept of Real Armenia from the rostrum of the National Assembly and our Government, with the support of the parliamentary majority and the people, was able to demonstrate sufficient will and determination to launch, in my opinion, the pivotal process of delimitation in the Berkaber-Kirants-Voskepar section.

Dear people, the delimitation process, despite all criticism, is a success story, the most important cornerstone of our state, independence, security and prosperity. Go and see the demarcated Kirants with your own eyes, and it will be clear to you what we mean bysaying independence, security, what we mean by saying Real Armenia and Peace Agenda.

I know that today there are many problems in many homes and families, communities and settlements, many of which the Government has proposed and provided concrete solutions to, many still remain unresolved. I am confident, I simply have no doubt, that all these problems will be solved one by one, and we will consistently engage in their in-depth solution.

But in this New Year's address, I do not touch on any of these problems, not because I do not want to record them, not because I do not deeply understand their importance, but simply today I want to emphasize even more the fact that we are still at a crossroads, facing a strategic and historical choice, and our substantive perception of all other issues depends on our choice.

The real Armenia, the Republic of Armenia with an area of 29 thousand 743 square kilometers, should become a guiding ideology not only for the Government and the parliamentary majority, but also for every citizen of the Republic of Armenia, and the key understanding of this ideology is that the state is a tool for ensuring the security, well-being, happiness of its citizens, preserving and developing their identity and nothing else. And nothing else, although it includes practically everything, and all of that fits into the concepts I listed above, and there is one way to achieve this goal of security, well-being, freedom, happiness, preserving and developing identity: education and work, work and education. Education and work, also for a more complete and detailed understanding of the ideology of the Real Armenia, its nuances and dilemmas, challenges and opportunities, because I am convinced that all the problems that we have in the field of foreign and domestic policy, in the economy and state administration, in the legal, public, political spheres, are a result of an ideological vacuum and a lack or often absence of preparation.

Dear people, dear citizens,

This is my 7th New Year's address as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. These addresses were delivered in different situations, had different moods, from euphoria to sadness, but at the heart of all of them was a strategic goal: to find the path and formula for not only the development, but also the endurance of our state and statehood, independence and sovereignty.

And I am convinced, today I am convinced that that formula and ideology have been found, and it is the ideology of the Real Armenia that gives us the opportunity to move forward, that gives us the opportunity to implement the agenda of the durability of statehood, independence, and the successful implementation of that agenda also depends on how much and how we will work, how much and how we will learn to have a state, to have a sustainable state.

And work and education are about changing and transforming, about being more literate, more competitive, more knowledgeable, more insightful, based on the necessities arising from the agenda of the sustainability of the state.

We must change and transform, dear people, dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia, we must cherish and protect our values, our identity, and we must change and transform. This is my key New Year message for 2025, and the fact that we are welcoming 2025 in a significantly more peaceful, significantly more stable, significantly safer environment, significantly more independent, significantly more sovereign, significantly more confident than before, all of this is the result of the strategy of Real Armenia, work and education, change and transformation.

We must value that result and further develop that result, but for this we must first recognize that result, we must first see it. 2024 has been the most peaceful and calm year for our country in the last twenty years, and this fact must indeed be analyzed deeply and seriously. Based on that fact, we must have the next calmer and more peaceful year, then the third calmer and more peaceful year, then the five-year period, then the decade, then the centenary period of peace, and so on. We are going that way, and this is the path by which we must be guided and by which we must lead.

Glory to the martyrs and long live the Republic of Armenia.

Long live the Republic of Armenia and Happy New Year.
