Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the inauguration of the renovated and re-equipped Dilijan Medical Center. The Head of Government toured the Center and took note of the work done as part of refurbishment.
In the framework of Tavush Marz health development program, the Center works in close cooperation with Yerevan’s major medical centers and is involved in state-administered health programs.
In 2019, the Dilijan medical center received AMD 275 million under the State-funded free and privileged medical assistance program. The Medical Center has primary healthcare facilities: a polyclinic, a maternity, and an ambulance service.
The Dilijan Medical Center serves 20 to 25,000 people in Dilijan and 6 adjacent communities. It has 175 employees, including 30 doctors. Regular visits are paid by 35 doctors from Yerevan, as needed. Under the investment program, the medical establishment has been completely renovated and furnished with state-of-the-art equipment that will improve the quality of diagnostic, laboratory, endoscopic, surgical, obstetric-gynecological, therapeutic, as well as out-patient and in-patient services.
