After being nominated by the National Assembly and appointed by RA President’s decree as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan keeps receiving congratulations from heads of foreign States, representatives of public and non-governmental organizations, individuals.

Congratulatory messages have been sent by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan, RF President Vladimir Putin, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, PRC Premier Li Keqiang, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, RF Premier Dmitry Medvedev..

PRC Premier Li Keqiang’s congratulatory message reads in part:

“Excellency,

On behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and myself, I sincerely congratulate you on your election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia is China’s traditional and friendly partner: the Armenian-Chinese relationship is deeply rooted in centuries. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, close top-level contacts have been maintained between the two countries, mutual trust has been steadily strengthened in the political field, coupled with developing cooperation in trade and economic, humanitarian, infrastructural and other areas.

RF Premier Dmitry Medvedev said in his congratulatory message:

“Dear Serzh Azati,

I would like to especially emphasize your personal contribution to the development of the Armenian-Russian friendly ties of allied partnership.

I am confident that in your new position you will continue to focus on the development of the whole complex of bilateral cooperation by promoting joint promising projects and initiatives in different spheres, and by deepening the integration cooperation in the frame of the Eurasian Economic Union.
