Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a regular Cabinet meeting.

At the beginning of the session, the Prime Minister referred to the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor, the recent trilateral negotiations in Brussels and other issues.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia decided to approve the investment program presented by "U$M Agro" LLC. The approval of the decison is conditioned by the need to provide access to the necessary infrastructure within the framework of the investment program implemented by the company, to refund 20 percent of the implemented investment through the implementation of the water supply project for up to 300 ha plots and the construction of the corresponding pumping station. As a result, it is expected to provide the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the implementation of the investment program and make it more efficient. Adoption of this decision will enable the company to contribute to the effective implementation of the investment program.

The Government made a decision to ensure permanent active lifestyle of the employees of law enforcement structures with physical exercises, to strengthen their health and longevity. If the decision is adopted, it is expected that military sports will be popularized, the role and importance of physical training will be increased, and a healthy sports atmosphere will be created among the forces. Every year, it is expected to ensure the participation of 184 people, of which 120 athletes, 8 managers, 16 representatives and 40 referees.

During the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also touched on the topics of voluntary certification in the Armed Forces, and the course of the "Academic City" project.

By the decision of the government, a program of new measures was adopted, which will ensure the implementation of the strategy in the field of agriculture for the period of 2023-2026. The adoption of the draft decision is conditioned by the need to adopt the program of measures for 2023-2026, ensuring the implementation of the 2020-2030 strategy aimed at the development of the main directions of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Armenia.

At the end of the Cabinet meeting, Nikol Pashinyan noted that the World Sambo Championship will be held in the Republic of Armenia.
