The regular Cabinet meeting took place today, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Executive made a decision to allocate AMD 2,228,871.1 thousand from the budget of 2024 to the staffs of the regional administrations to fulfill the financial obligations to the relevant construction organizations.

The Government made a decision to amend the decision n 439 of the government of the Republic of Armenia of April 8, 2010. This is conditioned by the fact that in the framework of the introduction of the state standard of general education, it was found that the wording "includes" for the formation of the curriculum is not sufficiently valid to include all the necessary subjects in the curriculum. The change in clause 33 of the standard will provide an opportunity to include all the defined areas in the curriculum with respective subjects. By changing the name of the subject "Armenian history" to "History of Armenia", the name of the textbook of the subject will by itself instill obligations and principles in the student in the process of becoming a citizen of a country with statehood. As a result, the name of the subject will be derived from the wording in clause 33 of the standard. Within the scope of the subject, the events that took place in different periods of Armenian statehood and the history of the Armenian people will be studied.

The Government has approved the amendments to the Law "On State Allowances", to the Law "On Higher and Post-University Professional Education", to the Law "On Public Education", to the Law "On Education", to the Law "On Advocacy", to the Law "On State Duties" and to the Law "On Employment". In order to solve the problems of the current system of family insecurity assessment, it is necessary to make changes and additions to a number of laws, in case of adoption of which it will be possible to completely review the government decisions regulating legal relations related to family insecurity assessment. With the development of the bills, a new family assessment system will be launched, the assessment characteristics will be reviewed, the procedures for assigning and paying allowances aimed at improving the family's living conditions will be clarified, and models for overcoming poverty in stages will be introduced. As a result of the adoption of the decision, it is expected to create the necessary legal foundations for the purpose of introducing a new system for assessing family insecurity.

The Government has approved the legislative initiative regarding the bills of the Republic of Armenia "On Amendments and Additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia". The need for the adoption of the bill "On Amendments and Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia" is due to the need to increase the transit role of the Republic of Armenia and deepen cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of cargo transportation.
